Once again we enjoyed visiting our local elementary schools and preschools celebrating Children’s Dental Health Month. We have had several classes participate in our chocolate milk challenge. Those classes who go two weeks with out drinking chocolate milk with their school lunch earn supplies for school. Any class that would like to go through the end of the year earns a pizza party from our office. Congratulations to classes from Hominy Valley Elementary, Bethel Elementary and North Canton Elementary for completing the challenge. GREAT JOB!!!!!

Below are a couple of Thank You cards from Victoria Arambula and Alyssa Taylor!

Dr. Bill Chambers, of Great Beginnings Pediatric and Adolescent Dental Specialist in Waynesville, presented a check to Haywood Chrisitan Ministries.  With the economic downturn and the recent cold weather problems, our community has an increased demand for assistnace with heating cost.  The funds donated to the ministry will help off set heating expenses for those in need in the community.  Anyone available to help with this effort in the community should contact Haywood Christian Ministries at (828) 456-4838.
