Our Great Staff

Susan  – Susan is our Practice Manager and has been with us for over 25 years. She lives in Fletcher with her husband, Trigger, and her daughter Zoe.  She enjoys the sun and fun at the beach, time spent with Zoe and Harley riding with her husband.

Amanda –  Amanda is our Office Administrator and Financial Coordinator for our Waynesville office. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, Scott.

Darlene is an Administrative Assistant who has 2 children named Lauren and Chance.  She enjoys reading, shopping, traveling and spending time with family and friends.  She enjoys working at Great Beginnings because of the family atmosphere our practice offers. 

Sharon – Sharon is our Financial Coordinator and has been with us over 11 years. Her daughter, Miranda is in college and studying to be a nurse. She lives in Asheville with her fiesty chihuahua, Roxy. Sharon's favorite place to visit is the beach and spends vacations there with firends and family. She often watches Food Network and HGTV and likes to try new recipes or tackle home improvement projects.

Lydia  – Lydia is our Treatment Coordinator. She moved to Asheville 5 years ago after living in England and Florida. Lydia enjoys spending time with Steve, hiking, she also enjoys dancing, art, traveling, shopping and watching movies. She has three cats named Nemo, Milo and Luna.

Nikki - Nikki is an Administrative Assistant. She was born in Winston – Salem, NC and moved here four years ago to her home in Swannanoa. She has been married 15 years to her amazing husband, Robi. They have 3 children, 2 girls, Aubrey & Taylor and a son Audun. She has worked with children while employed at Disney World as a character. She loves making people laugh, giving people a sense of hope and she has a strong relationship with the Lord.

Sheila  – Sheila has been with us for over 17 years and has a background in banking. She has a passion for homeless needy animals. She lives in Arden on a horse farm with her husband, Leon, and lots of animals to love and cuddle. Sheila loves to plant flowers, ride Harleys and go to the beach as much as possible.

Donna  – Donna is our Front Desk Coordinator for our Waynesville office. She resides in Waynesville and enjoys spending time with friends and family, especially her nieces and nephews. She loves baking, sports and going to the beach.

Terry  – Terry is our Patient Care Coordinator and has been with our office for over 17 years. She has been married to Dr. Kelvin Mosley for 5 years and they have a blended family of three daughters and two sons. They are proud Poppa and Mimi to four fabulous grandgirls and one wonderful new grandson. They are members of Biltmore Baptist where Kelvin is the Director of Local and Global Missions. Terry enjoys spending time with her husband, grandchildren, their dog “Mr. Big”, being active in their church, traveling, shopping and loving life.

Darlene - Darlene is an Administrative Assistant in our Waynesville office. She lives in Leicester with her husband, Rob and their yellow lab Abby. She enjoys spending time with her daughter Whitney, reading and being at Lake Keowee with friends.

Patty - Patty is an Administrative Assistant in our Asheville office. She has been married for 30 years to her husband Wes. They have three children and 5 grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, beach trips, gardening and music.

Lisa Anne – LisaAnne is our Hospital Care Coordinator. She has been with our practice for over 8 years but has been in the dental field for 25 years. She enjoys spending time with her daughter, Briannah. In her spare time she loves interior decorating, refinishing old furniture and junk shopping.

Christy – Christy is our Insurance Coordinator. She has been married to her husband Fred since 1998. She has two awesome step-children, Fred and Meredith. She and Fred love their pets (and grandpets!) and spending time with their family and friends.

Lynn  – Lynn is a Dental Hygienist and has been with us for over 20 years. She lives in Candler with her husband, Mark, and son, Blake. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.  She loves being a mom!

Cindy - Cindy is a Dental Hygienist. She is married to her husband, Ronnie and they have two children, Zeb who is 16 years old and Zane who is 13. Their children are very active in sports so they spend large amounts of time at games. They love football and Cindy's husband, Ronnie, coach's football at Enka High School and both boys play. Outside of sport, Cindy is on a clogging team and enjoys dancing.

Carla  – Carla is a Dental Hygienist and has been practicing for over 13 years. Carla lives in the Waynesville area with her husband, Rodney, daughter, Avery and son Caden. Carla enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with family and friends.

Lynne  – Lynne is a Dental Hygienist. She lives in Arden with daughter, Georgia Belle, and a black lab named "Miss Boone."

Renee  – Renee has been a Dental Hygienist in our practice for over 15 years. She has been married for over 30 years to her husband, Jim. Their daughter, Lesley, is a graduate of Salem College and is married to Bradley. Their son, Spencer, is a graduate of Reynolds High School and currently attends Appalachian State University. Renee enjoys gardening and reading in her spare time.

Jalinda  – Jalinda is a Dental Hygienist who was a former patient of our practice before becoming employed with us.  She and her husband, Alan, and two children, Emeri and Maddox, live in Canton. Jalinda enjoys the lake, horseback riding, friends and family.

Candice  – Candice is a Dental Hygienist, as well as a former patient. She and her husband, John, live in Weaverville with their sons, Jaxon, Max, Hank and their cats Couchy, JJ and their dog Mackenzie. She enjoys riding 4-wheelers, fishing, camping, time with family and friends and being a mom.

Crystal - Crystal is a Dental Assistant from Candler who is married to her husband Josh and they have a son named Colson. They also are expecting a baby girl (Caylen) in January. They enjoy their dog, Brandy, spending time with family and being outdoors. She enjoys working with children and describes our office as “friendly and wonderful". 

Katie – Katie is a Certified Dental Assistant. She is from Haywood County and lives in the beautiful Panther Creek Community. She has been married to Alan since 1999. They have a beautiful daughter, Avery, and their other “daughter” is Ginger, a malti-poo.

Donna  – Donna is a Chairside Assistant with over 20 years of experience. She lives in Hendersonville with her husband, Jerry, and her cat, Maui. Donna enjoys gardening, camping, fishing, photography and her family and friends. She is very active with the youth group at her church.

Kim – Kim has enjoyed 26 years as a Dental Assistant and as Dental Health Coordinator for the local preschools in our area. She lives in Candler along with her husband Mike. They are avid sports fans and enjoy working with the youth of their community. They have two children, Matt & Katie. Matt and their new daughter in law, Erin also live in Candler and he teaches and coaches at Pisgah High School. Katie is a Senior at WCU and is planning on a career in Elementary Education.

Marsha – Marsha lives in Canton with her husband, Chris, and their two children, Cord and Collin. In her spare time, Marsha enjoys spending time with family, going out with friends and cooking.

Tracy – Tracy has been with our office for over 10 years. She lives in Fletcher with her husband, Shawn, and daughter, Taylor. She enjoys watching Taylor play basketball and collecting antique ornaments. Tracy has a cat, Cassie, and three dogs, Sam, Sasha and Sadie.

Jessie – Jessie is a graduate of the AB Tech Dental Assisting program and is a Dental Assistant in our practice. She lives in Asheville with her husband Rodney and twin girls, Kalyn and Kamryn.

Lisa – Lisa is a Chairside Assistant and a Certified Dental Assistant who has been with our office for over 26 years. She lives in Asheville with her husband Ronnie. They have two cats, Jasmine and Ariel. Lisa enjoys going to the beach, shopping, spending time with her family and collecting antique cookie jars. She is a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church.

Darla – Darla is a graduate from Western Piedmont Community College and is a Dental Assistant. She lives in Marion with her husband, Bradley, her two sons, Jace and Knox. Darla loves swimming, shopping and spending time with her family and friends.

Teresa - Teresa is a Dental Assistant who lives in Waynesville with her three children Jordan, Jayla and Caleb. She loves spending time with her kids and friends, reading and going to the lake.

Jennifer  – Jennifer is one of our Dental Assistants.  She lives with her husband, Kevin, and their son, Kyle. She loves going to her son's ball games, reading and walking. She is a huge Duke Blue Devils fan.

April - April began working with Great Beginnings in August of 2008 and she loves it. She was married in October 2008 to her boyfriend of 10 years, Steven. She is a certified Dental Assistant as well as a licensed Dental Hygienist. She graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at AB Tech in 2008. She and Steven do not have any children, but they have a toy poodle, Angel....who they love dearly.

Libby - Libby is a Dental Assistant who has been with our Asheville office for 2 years. She moved here from Greensboro, NC with her fiancé Brandon. She enjoys being outside, teaching jazzercise and spending time with friends and family.

Samantha – Samantha is a Sterilization Tech and a Dental Assistant. She lives in Mills River with her husband and two dogs, Ida and Copper. She enjoys being with her family and friends. Samantha and her husband Dustin are expecting there first child at the end of February.

Kristie - Kristie is our Sterilization Tech. She has two children, Casey and Hailey. She attends Starnes Cove Baptist Church and is active with the children's department. She enjoys living life to the fullest!
